He was predeceased by: his mother Agnes Hentges; his siblings, Elaine, Mary, Debbie, Donna, Karen, Jerry and Paul; and his brother-in-law Rick Hunt.

He is survived by: his grandchildren, Christian, Summer, Skye, Braxton, Bristol and Case; his siblings, Pat Thorson (Larry), Cheryl Tekirdaglis and Butch Hentges (Stacey); and his friend Diana Hentges.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Kimball Fire and Rescue.
