Leo John Wirth Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leo John Wirth of Kimball, Minnesota, born in Walcott, North Dakota, who passed away on July 14, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse Wirth and Esther Wirth (Sommerfeld); his brothers, Alvin, Richard and Roy; his brother-in-law Wes Truax; his nephew Brian Truax; his godchild Shellie Trimble; and also Siow-Fang Khoo.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn of Kimball; his daughters, Tamara Jones (Antwan Conley) of Chicago and Jennifer Wirth (Brian Miller) of Shippon, England; his grandchildren, Eurielle, Zacchaeus, Danny, Emily, Kenny and Ally; his siblings, Allen (Carla) of Forest Lake, Leona Truax of Hewitt and Edith Brasel of Glenwood; and his sister-in-law Brenda Wirth of Hopkins. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in honor of Leo to Coborns Cancer Center, Quiet Oaks Hospice, Kimball United Methodist Church, or Kimball Senior Scholarship. All donations made through the Dingmann Funeral Care website will be distributed to one or all of the charities listed as directed by Leo's family.
