With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John William Gannon of Kimball, Minnesota, born in Oakes, North Dakota, who passed away on February 14, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Gannon and Mary Gannon (Irvin); his stepmother Louise; his wife Bonnie; and his great grandchild Tyler Schmidt.
He is survived by: his children, Tami Buranen (Jim) of Maple Lake, Wendy Howard (Ron) of Golden Valley, Jennifer Garding (Robert) of Kimball and Jeff Gannon of St. Augusta; his grandsons, Brandon Schmidt, Travis Buranen (Samantha), Xavier Howard, Dylan Garding (Kristen) and Zachary Garding; his great grandchildren, Ryder, Gavin Schmidt, Rayna, Dalton Garding and Mia Aurentz; and his brothers, Patrick (Barbara) of Harvey, ND, Michael (Lollie) of Petaluma, CA and Paul (Trish) of St. Joseph. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
