He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Heid and LaVerna Heid (Heinen); his stepmother Regina Heid (Lust); his sister Diane Heid; and his brother-in-law Dan Strohmeier.
He is survived by: his children, Sophia Heid of Annandale and Sy Heid of Kimball; his grandson Darion Bogatzki of Annandale; and his siblings, Roland (Gale) of Watkins, John (Mary Ann) of Watkins, Linda Plamann (Ron) of Kimball, Peter of Kimball, Paul of Kimball, Mary Hied of Watkins, Marlene Konz (Tom) of Pearl Lake, Cindy Geislinger (Steve) of Watkins, Elaine Beehler of Bemidji, Jackie Heid (Richard Woehnker) of Elk River, Jerry Jr. of Carrington, ND and Janet Krasowski (James) of Minnetrista. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
