It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Byron D. Korhonen of Kettle River, Minnesota, born in Duluth, Minnesota, who passed away on August 30, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Korhonen and Henry Korhonen; and his brother James Korhonen. He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Lewis; his children, Tyler Korhonen (Kelly), Kyle Korhonen (Ashley) and Lyssa Goranson (Dean); his goddaughter Jana Anderson; his grandchildren, Oliver, Finnley, Emma, Ben, Louie, Megan, Julia, Jaeger, Wyatt and Memphis; his siblings, Arthur Korhonen, Nancy Stefanis and Becky Price; and his siblings-in-law, Gary Lewis, Vicki Nielsen and Lori Lewis. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
