Richard Tornquist Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 3, 2024, at the age of 88, Richard Tornquist of Kerkhoven, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard W. Tornquist and Hilve Velora Tornquist (Anderson); his wife Kathryn Tornquist (Kay); and his son Jay Tornquist. He is survived by: his children, Rod Tornquist (Carol) of Ottertail and Sheila Hanson of Minneapolis; his daughter-in-law Kathy Tornquist of Willmar; and his siblings, Pat Hallsten, Lowell Tornquist (Barb) and Shell Tornquist. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Memorials can be sent to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, Salvation Army or Wycliffe International.
