He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilarion "Doc" Welter and Lauretta Welter; his wife LaVonne Welter (Thein); and his sister Joyce Habben. He is survived by: his children, Stacy Steele (Wayne), Lisa Welter and Mark Welter (Ann); his grandchildren, Kathryn Eckert (Tyler), Marissa Steele, Emma Welter, Ben Welter and David Steele; his sister Mona Heglin (Ron); and his sister-in-law Karen Thein.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (201 Orleans St S, Murdock, MN 56271). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
