It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doris Lucille Bakken of Kerkhoven, Minnesota, born in Starbuck, Minnesota, who passed away on February 6, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Norville Otteson and Clara Otteson (Sandvig); her husband Otto Bakken; and her brother Jerry Otteson. She is survived by: her children, Bruce Bakken (Cindy) of Sunburg, MN, Brian Bakken (Barbara) of Prior Lake, MN and Shari Christianson of Alexandria, MN; her grandchildren, Cody Bakken (Amy Spaid), Dylan Bakken (Shannon), Molly Bakken (Justin Hinton), Ethan Bakken (Lacey), Hilde Cardenas (Jonathan), James Rusthoven, Jason Rusthoven, Sarah Bjornson (Derek) and Jenna Christianson (John Hanchek); and her great grandchildren, Brynlee, Brooklyn, Luci, Haddie, Cole, Shay and Jack. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Memorials are preferred to Kerkhoven Lutheran Church.
