He was predeceased by: his parents, Iver Swanson and Ingaborg Swanson (Nesseth); his siblings, Orlando Swanson (Donna), Duane Swanson (Margie), Lester Swanson, Helen Olson (Leonard), Clarissa Swanson, Jeanette Reschke (Don) and Norma Johnson (Bud); and his siblings-in-law, Richard Tix, Jim Tutewohl and Sharon Tutewohl.
He is survived by: his wife Eunice Tutewohl of Kenyon; his daughters, Patricia Sahl (Douglas) of Nerstrand and Katherine Swanson of Faribault; his grandchildren, Stacy Belko (Josh), Sandra Bohaty (Brock), Christopher Knott, Shari McCabe (Ryan), Kaitlin Lexvold (Nathan), Kayla Knott, Sarah Sahl, Kyle Knott and Corey Knott; his great grandchildren, Brecken, Callen, Soren McCabe, Lochlan and Avery Belko; and his siblings-in-law, Leo Tutewohl, Jack Tutewohl (Donna), Butch Tutewohl (Diane), Dan Tutewohl, Ann Guetter (Nick) and Mary Tix. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home (1725 Lyndale Ave N, Faribault, MN 55021). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Kenyon Cemetery.
