It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Westphal of Kenyon, Minnesota, born in Faribault, Minnesota, who passed away on April 24, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Westphal and Edythe Westphal (Murphy); and his siblings, Donald "Dutch" Westphal of Kenyon and Mary "Sharon" Nedrow (William) of Roanoke. He is survived by: his wife Judith Westphal of Kenyon; his children, Kelly Westphal of Kenyon, Lynne Giese (Darryl) of Faribault, Robin Elton (Rod) of Cottage Grove, Scott Westphal (Mary) of Riverview, FL and Jody Westphal of Montgomery; his grandchildren, Melissa Beaune (Brandon), Jessica Watkins (Jordan), LaLonnie Mullenberg (Alex), Amanda Elton, Michael Burlingame, Joshua Westphal, Scott Westphal Jr. (Jessica), Corey Giese and Drew Moorman (Jennifer); and his stepgranddaughter Tiffany Breuer. He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Kenyon VFW Post 141.
