She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Hammel and Lucille Hammel (Cawley); and her brother Kenneth Hammel. She is survived by: her former spouse Bernhard "Pete" Ellingson; her children, Debora Ellingson of Owatonna, Wanda Eisenhuth (Wayne) of Northfield and Jeff Ellingson (Kim) of Kenyon; her grandchildren, Brianna Forsberg (Derick), Hannah Forsberg, Andy Eisenhuth, Audra Tejeda, Alyssa Samlaska (Maurice), Samantha and Monica Ellingson; and her great grandchildren, Alexis, Hunter, Zoe, Jaxon Forsberg, Kiana Forsberg, Andrew, Kyleigh Tejeda, Marissa and Vivian Samlaska.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to First Evangelical Lutheran Church or to the Gunderson House.
