He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Peters and Gladys Peters (Nielsen); his parents-in-law, Randall and Gay Gellert; and his brother-in-law Dennis Nerud.
He is survived by: his wife Heather Peters (Gellert); his daughter Hannah Peters; and his siblings, Sandra Gochnauer (Doug), Gary Peters (Annette), Linda Thomas (Sy), Dennis Peters (Pat) and Debra Nerud. He is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church (309 Forest St, Kenyon, MN 55946). A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Hauge Cemetery (931 Monkey Valley, Kenyon, MN 55946).
