She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Hjermstad and Edith Hjermstad (Foss); her husband Donald A. Traurig; her daughter Kay Alig; and her brothers, Clifford Hjermstad, Harris Hjermstad and Joel Hjermstad.

She is survived by: her granddaughter Alyssa Traurig of Zumbrota. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
