With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Broin of Kenyon, Minnesota, who passed away on February 19, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Broin and Edna Broin (Flaten); his brother Harland Broin; and his siblings-in-law, Judith Broin and George Felten.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah M. Broin; his children, Susan Pedersen (Mark), Plymouth, Debra Peterson (Donald), Nokomis and David Broin (Pamela); his grandchildren, Jeffrey Pedersen (Megan), Rachel Pedersen, Ryan Schwake (Amy), Kristi Schwake (Nick Colbert), Peter Broin, Kelli Broin, Theresa Peterson and Kathleen Peterson; his great grandchildren, Mila, Graham, Jack Schwake and Luke Pedersen; his siblings, Lowell Broin (Nancy) and Beverly Felten of Chino Hills, CA; and his sister-in-law Barbara Broin.
In 2020, he was asked to be the Grand Marshal of the Memorial Day parade, which was later cancelled due to Covid.
