He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Voxland and Rachel Voxland (Hostager); his siblings, Gerhard, Rudolph and Evelyn Sathrum Abendschein; and his son-in-law Michael Valentine.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores Kindseth; his daughters, Kathy Caron (Perry) of Cannon Falls and Amy Valentine of La Crosse, WI; his granddaughter Cassandra Jo Caron of Kenyon; his great grandchildren, Wyatt and Ruby; and his siblings, Ruth Cramer, Mark (Mary Kindseth), Bruce (Dot Kindseth) and Jim (Shirley Cain). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
