She was predeceased by: her parents, Iona Allen and Henry Allen of Guyana. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Cledon-Anthony John; her children, Shane John, Nelleah and Nalani; her grandchild Shanita John; and her siblings, Daphne Nelson, Shirley Thomas, Maurice Allen and Patrick Allen.
