He was predeceased by: his parents, Hylma Hughes and Evans Hughes; and his great grandchild Grayson James Waddell. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Dahlgren; and his children, Sherri Dahl (Max) of Gemmel, David Hughes (Cindy) of Kelliher and Michael Hughes of Kelliher. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Our Saviors Lutheran Church (249 Main St W, Kelliher, MN 56650). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
