It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma Elsie Daken of Kelliher, Minnesota, who passed away on November 22, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Benz and Hazel Benz (Perkins); her husbands, Ray Faure and Lyle Daken; her friend Vesty Poxleitner; her son Duane Faure; her brothers, Arthur Benz and Jerry Benz; her granddaughter Nicole Faure; and her great grandchild Grayson Green.
She is survived by: her daughter Jody Wizik (John); her foster son Tim Strand; her stepdaughter Stacy Daken; her children-in-law, Cheryl Rhodes, Penny Strand and John Syverson; her sister-in-law Anna Mae Daken; and her close friends, Karl, Helen Johnson, Betty Sorenson, Mike, Sue Holtz, Darla Donaldson and Johnsrud. She is also survived by 11 grandkids; 16 great grandkids; many wonderful friends; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
