He is survived by: his wife Lillian Fischer of Kasson, MN; his children, Dawne Bunkers (John) of Fairfax, MN, Mitchell Fischer (Amy) of Kasson, MN and James Fischer of Dubuque, IA; and his sister Karen Wadman of Oro Valley, AZ. He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren.
