He is survived by: his former spouse Pamella Plevke; his wife Pam Hartman of Kasson; and his siblings, Pat Stroh (Jim), Sandy Altman (Ron), Judy Miller (Jerry), Gary Hartman (Patti), Randy Hartman (Yvonne) and Jim (Marcia Hartman). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
