He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Hanson and Esther Hanson (Eklund); and his brother Ronnie Hanson. He is survived by: his siblings, Betty Bielen (Dan) and Danny Hanson (Sandy); and his sister-in-law Terry Hanson. He is also survived by nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Wounded Warrior Foundation.
