He is survived by: his sister Gretchen Joel; his brother-in-law Darrel Joel; his nieces, Christina and Abby Darrington; his wife Rosemary J. Affeldt of Enfield, NH; and his daughter Nicole H. Affeldt of Hartford, VT..
