He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Brown and Rita Brown; his siblings-in-law, Sally Halvorson Berg, Gary and David Halvorson; and his mother-in-law Rose Halvorson.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Halvorson Brown; his son Michael Brown (Tammy) of Aurora, CO; his stepdaughters, Sheri Solum of Edmond, OK and Susan Kelpin of Jamul, CA; his brother-in-law Gale Halvorson (Lou) of Roseau, MN; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Trina, Toni Fjerstad, Drew Baudoin, Avery, Jake Halvorson, Andrea Sprabary (Ryan), Weston, Britton Sprabary, Owen, Lucas and Josh Berg; and also, Sheri and Susan. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Memorials are preferred to West St. Olaf Lutheran Church, Grand Forks Foundation for Education, Salvation Army, or a charity of your choice.
