He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Ness and Alice Ness (Osmundsen). He is survived by: his wife Judith White; his children, Ed Ness (Laura) of Traverse City, MI, Jon Ness (Julie) of Lakeville, MN, Debra Ness of Rochester, MN and Kathlyn Brumfield (Jeff) of Mantorville, MN; his grandchildren, Ryan Ness, Abbie Ness O'Donnell (Troy), Mollie Ness, Susie Ness, Emma Brumfield and Hannah Brumfield; and his siblings, Marguretta Yaeger (Robert), Norma Aarsvold (Robert), James Ness (Irene) and Donald Ness (Dorene).
