He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Willson and Bessie Willson (Buckles); his granddaughter Ariel Joy Eaton-Willson; and his siblings, Dan, Warren, Lee, Bob, Wayne, Rhoda and Dorothy.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene; his children, Timothy (Chris), Terri Pongratz (Andy), Amy Owens (Duane), Michael (Katrina), Jeanne Doebbeling (Ken) and Donald (Tina); his sister Eva Butterfield; and his sisters-in-law, Joyce, Marion Willson, Vee Weiby, Carol and LaVera Roemhildt. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.
