He is survived by: his daughter Tricia Derner of Litchfield; his stepchildren, Susan Buesgens of Henderson and Mickey Attenberger of Kasota; his siblings, James Derner (Janet) of Kasota, Carol Maas of St. Peter, Gary Derner (Betty) of Mesa, AZ, Diane Bense (Vern) of Beaumont, CA, Ed Derner (Gayle) of St. Peter, Nancy Davis (Richard) of Cleveland, Gerald Derner (Pamela) of St. Peter, Joseph Derner (JoAnn) of Cleveland and Philip Derner (Vali Eaton) of Mankato; his nephew Scott; and his nieces, Tammy and Jodi.
