She was predeceased by: her parents, John Torkelson and Mary Torkelson (Szczepanski); her husband Lester; and her siblings, Leonard and Lila.

She is survived by: her children, Leslie (Elaine) of Roseau, Mitchell (Jean) of Karlstad and Meridith (Brian Walton) of Middle River. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.
