With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edythe Grandstrand of Karlstad, Minnesota, who passed away on February 3, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Benson and Selma Benson; her siblings, Ray Benson and Rose Bagaas; and her husband Paul Grandstrand.
She is survived by: her caregiver Paul; her granddaughter Rachel Gerhardt; her children, David Grandstrand (Karen), Carol Sele (Doug) and Sam Grandstrand (Diane); her grandchildren, Paul Grandstrand (Rachel), Nathan Sele (Andrea), Andrea Borsvold (Luke), Kaia Peterson (Matt), Philip Grandstrand, Laura Keenan (Jerry), Jenna Berglund (Chris) and Samantha Kraulik; and her great grandchildren, Christopher, Harper, Lynden, Torsten, Gordie, Freya, Sammy, Maverick, Ivar, Livvy and Burton. She is also survived by grandkids and cats.
