Scott left this world on January 10, 2025 at the age of 62, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Lindstrand and Carol Lindstrand (Howe); his in-laws, Albert and Alice Peterson; and his siblings-in-law, Terry and Darlene.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his children, Krista Peterson (Aaron), Mark Lindstrand (Kayla), Larry Garvick, Christopher Garvick, Randy Garvick (Emily), Anna Garvick and Faith Garvick; his grandchildren, Tara (Joseph), Johnathon, Wyatt, Hayden, Owen, Annika, Luke, Aurora, Caleb, Emmalyn, Trinity, Levi, Brian, Gretchen, Charles, Everleigh and Holly; his great grandchild Ember; and his siblings, Vicki Lester (Sam), Cindy Kinnear (Dave), Kevin Lindstrand and Lori Johnson (Jeff). He is also survived by several brothers- and sisters-in-law; and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ebenezer Lutheran Church (610 Atlantic Ave, Kandiyohi, MN 56251). A burial was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Ebenezer Lutheran Cemetery (610 Atlantic Ave, Kandiyohi, MN 56251).
