She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilhelm Schmidt and Bertha Schmidt; her stepfather Louis Bebensee; her siblings, Lydia Kuiper (Gerrit) and Arnold Schmidt (Fran); and her brother-in-law Harvey Schwichtenberg (Della).
She is survived by: her children, Steven Schwichtenberg (Anne) of Lanesboro, MN, Arlen Schwichtenberg (Sharon) of Carver, MN, Elaine Miller (Ralph) of Madison Lake, MN and David Schwichtenberg (Cheryl) of Jordan, MN.. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jordan or Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School (MVL).
