Wayne F. Mattison Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wayne F. Mattison of Jordan, Minnesota, who passed away on December 31, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilferd Mattison and Genevieve Mattison (Smith); and his sister Shirley Pronzinski. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his daughters, Anne Mattison (Kent Sturcken) of Reston, Kristin Ruhland of Blaine, Sarah Paaverud (Wayne) of Blaine and Meghan Anderson (Christopher) of Edina; his grandchildren, Ethan, Abby Ruhland, Eleanor, Maxwell Paaverud, Signe and Ruby Anderson; and his brother Stephen.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of the Prairie Catholic Church (200 E Church St, Belle Plaine, MN 56011). A Mass was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450).
