She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Neil Eischens and Irene Eischens (Hartman); her godchildren, Patti Huss, Becky and Tim Eischens; her children, Kyle LaPlant (Genary), LeRoy LaPlant (Emily), Katie LaPlant and Anne Read (Dan); her grandchildren, Madison Jane LaPlant, Jake LaPlant, Levi LaPlant, Ezra LaPlant, Judah LaPlant, Oliver Read and Evelyn Read; her great grandchild Caroline; her siblings, Tom Eischens, Bob Eischens, Mike Eischens (Cheryl), Pete Eischens, Carol Schaper, Jim Eischens (Sharon), Beth Sybilrud (Jay) and Joe Eischens (Patty Sullivan); her sister-in-law Colleen Eischens; her husband Henry John LaPlant; her brothers, Ken and LeRoy Eischens; her sister-in-law Darlene Eischens; and her close friend Jeanne Hartman. She was also cherished by other loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and will be donated in Mary Jane's honor to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and Concordia Classical Academy, North Mankato.
