She was predeceased by: her husband LaVae Donn Thynes; her parents, Richard Azzopardi and Mary Azzopardi (Gauchemester); her parents-in-law, Engel and Mabel Thynes; and her siblings-in-law, John Jackson, Arthur Contini, Merlyon Thynes and Jeanette Thynes.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Thynes (Dianne) of Willmar, MN, JoAnn Wolf (Kent) of Jordan, MN, Lynn Nelson (John) of Eau Claire, WI and Mary Fischer (John) of Marshall, MN; her grandchildren, Trisha Hentges (Barry), Emily Pahl (Mark), Jacob Wolf (Kristyn), Amanda Wetzell (Ben), Dustin Nelson (Ashleigh), Molly Campbell (David), Sam Nelson (Andrea), Thomas Fischer (Ellie), Isaac Fischer and Claire Fischer; and her sisters, Yolanda Jackson of London, England, Emilee Contini of Sydney and Marisa Pace (Alphonse) of Silema, Malta. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.
She helped out with the American Cancer Society, The Storden Legion Auxiliary and Bethany Ladies Aid.
