She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Haugse and Amelia Haugse (Carsrud); her husband Gordon Sponheim; her children, Jean and Mark; her son-in-law Dean Nelson; and her siblings, Joann, Edward and Reuben.

She is survived by: her daughter Gayle Nelson; her grandson Jarad Nelson; and her great grandchildren, Ava and Ella.
