She was predeceased by: her parents, John E. Bergin and Margaret Ann Bergin (Bresnahan); her husband Otis Benson; her children, Kevin, Kim, Kent Benson and Kolleen; her son-in-law Don Stoltenberg; and her friend Millie Ahrendt.
She is survived by: her sister Veronica Herrmann; her children, Kristin Nelson (Tom) of Broomfield, CO, Kord Benson (Dana) of O'Neill, NE, Kyle Benson of Austin, TX, Kelly Benson (Bernie) of Willmar, MN, Kerri Johnston (Malcolm) of Elk Point, SD and Kolin Benson of Marshall, MN; her daughter-in-law RaVae Benson; and her siblings, Vernon Bergin of Sioux Falls, SD and Catherine McCulloch of Sedona, AZ.. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren.
