He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Alfred and Ruth Elizabeth Kneip (Carlson); his wife Gwendolyn Larson; his daughter Susan Kay Kneip; his granddaughter Aja Pelster; and his sister Virginia Berdahl.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Kneip (Dede) of Omaha, NE, Jim Kneip (Debbie) of Luverne, MN, Barb Facile (Kurt) of Sioux Falls, SD and Brenda Bostic (Dale) of Edgerton, MN; his grandchildren, Brittany Hoebelheinrich (Adam), Michaela Stots (Raufeon), Jenna LaRose (Adam), Ashley Gellhaus (John), Amber Bootsma (Zac), Alec Bostic, Cameron Facile (Tiffany), Devinne Mertens (Kody), Danielle Kneip (Tannin) and Nicole Kneip (Quinn); and his great grandchildren, Teagan, Bentley, Blaze, Bennett, Remington, Kooper, Blythe, Sterling, Crosby, Clarence, Ikechukwu and Orley.
