He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Rieck and Virginia "Peggy" Rieck (Bergin); his sisters, Rita Severson and Ruth Matson; his parents-in-law, Kenneth and Betty Swenson; his brothers-in-law, Daniel and Randy Swenson; and his son-in-law Brandon Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy Swenson of Jasper; his children, Erica Rowley (Travis) of Superior, IA, Christopher Rieck (Elena) of Pipestone, MN, Craig Rieck (Nicki) of Jasper and Nick Matson (Kari) of Jasper; his grandchildren, Isaiah Thompson, Briar Rowley, Parker Rowley, Tarynn Blaue, Jordon Matson, Sienna Rieck, Ellie Rieck, Angelica Rieck, Josif, Abby Rieck, Taj Rieck and Kailee Rieck; and his great grandchildren, Harley Rieck and Theodore Krapf.
