He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Houg and Martha Houg (Nelson); his stepmother Bertha Houg (Urdahl); his wife Vivian Grimm; his stepdaughter Judy Fjellanger; his great grandchildren, Kelly Lorenzen and Brody Damman; and his brothers, Morris and Donald Houg.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Joyce Foster of Jasper, MN and Darrel Grimm of Sioux Falls, SD. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
