It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Kiner of Janesville, Minnesota, born in Waseca, Minnesota, who passed away on April 16, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kiner and Selma Kiner (Kotz); and his siblings, Jack, Helen and Jimmy.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy "Dot" Kiner; his children, Robert Kiner (Michelle) of Eagan, Patty Whitehurst (Joel) of Elysian, Jenny Wells (Patrick) of St. Anthony and Mark Kiner (Jenny) of Lakeville; his grandchildren, Joe, Rachel and Alexis Kiner; his children, Brooke Mulert (Mitch), Jack Galler, Madison, William and Grace Kiner; and his stepgrandchildren, Hillary Whitehurst (Jesse), Hailey Bailly (Nick), Brett Whitehurst (Kamryn), James and Layla Bailly. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorials are preferred to the Janesville United Methodist Church or the Janesville Area Foundation.
