He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Stanke and Elizabeth Stanke (Truman). He is survived by: his children, Douglas Stanke (Pam), Dennis Stanke (Kris), Dawn Anderson (Jeremy) and Norma Witt; and his siblings, Barbara Hill and Curtis Stanke (Donna). He is also survived by step-great grandchildren; and by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Steve's family requests memorials preferred to Smiths Mill Public Cemetery, American Legion Post 281, or to the Donor's Choice in his memory.
