He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carol Steinberg of Janesville; his children, Tannis Steinberg of Lewiston, Kayla Steinberg of Mankato, Trista Steinberg of Mankato and Kaleena Steinberg of Janesville; his granddaughter Emmalynn; his mother Sadie Steinberg of Mankato; his siblings, Bob Steinberg (Nancy) of Casper, WY, Greg Steinberg (Janice) of Missoula, MT, Kris Huebl (John) of Waseca and Denise Steinberg (Dave Duram) of Cambridge; his father Robert Steinberg; his grandparents, William, Lena Steinberg, Andrew and Violet Lambert; and his parents-in-law, Orville Bergmann and Irma Bergmann. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
