He is survived by: his wife Dona Mae Hoover of Janesville; his children, Larry Merritt (Glee) of Waldorf, Mike "Spotty" Merritt of Janesville, Lori Sonnek (Pete) of Minnesota Lake, Ken "Kenny" Merritt of Waldorf and Kathy Bauleke (Jerry) of Waseca; his grandchildren, Alicia Root (Steph), Alex Merritt (Haley Behne), Avery Merritt (Cora Ingles), Aaron Merritt, Aiden Merritt, Tenia Schroeder (Cory), Mariah Sonnek (Riley Carr), Kelsie Sonnek (Austin Purchla), Simon Sonnek (Bella Stokes), Andrew Merritt (Angeles), Issac, Kaitlyn and Addison Bauleke; his great grandchildren, Mia Merritt, Keegan Root and Cecelia Merritt; his sister Louise Peterson (Alan) of Austin; and his siblings-in-law, Irene Merritt of Altoona, WI, Kathy Baily of Waseca, Dave Johnson of Rice Lake, WI and Bill Bird (Loretta) of Bartlesville, OK.. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
