He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Flynn and Amanda Flynn (Brenning); his wives, LaVonne Blouin and Dagmar Roen Burgoon; his sons, Terry, Jerry and Raymond; and his siblings, Richard, William, John, Joseph, Mary Black, Ann DeVlaeminick, Margaret Abdo and Gertrude Phillips.
He is survived by: his children, Earl Flynn, Jr. (Lois) of Elysian, MN, Dorene Zimdahl of Mankato, MN and Margaret "Peggy" Curtis of Bemidji, MN. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
