He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Goltz and Peg Schendel (Dumbeck); his mother-in-law Carol Morris; and his grandson Alan Burns. He is survived by: his wife Karen Morris; his daughters, Jessica Olson (Phil) and Kirstin Burns (Tim); his granddaughters, Jaelyn, Miah Olson, Maggie, Quinn and Amelia Burns; his siblings, Mary Rathai (Kevin), Mike Goltz (Shelly Hoffman) and Dona Petzel; his stepfather Jerry Schendel; his stepbrothers, Jerry Schendel (Renea Robilliard), Rich Schendel (Annette) and Mike Schendel (Heidi); his father-in-law Eugene Morris; and his siblings-in-law, Colleen Warnemunde (Bob), Ron Morris (Leta Janda) and Sue Lochner (Derek). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
