He was predeceased by: his parents, William Quast and Wilhelmina Quast (Stankey); his spouse Lou Ella Quam; and his sister Marcella Kopischke (Paul). He is survived by: his daughter Janice Maas (Ivan) of Janesville; his grandchildren, Julie Olson (David) of Janesville, William Maas of Mankato and Megan Maas of St. Paul; and his great grandchildren, Evan and Maya Olson. He is also survived by his family for his love of children especially his grandchildren.

Memorials are preferred to St. Croix Hospice.
