He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Schweim and Dorothea Schweim (Geiger); and his wife Barbara Ziegler. He is survived by: his children, Todd Schweim of Mankato, Janelle Harms (Don) of Crystal and Troy Schweim of Janesville; his grandchildren, Brittany Lindroth (Matthew), Tyler Schweim, Max Harms, Piper Harms, Beth Dallenbach and Ashley Schweim; and his great grandchildren, Stella and Ezra. He is also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Trinity Lutheran School in Janesville.
