He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Cushman and Amelia Cushman (Lamack); and his siblings, Alvin "Bud", Howard "Hod", Elwood Cushman, Lucille Poynter and Arlene Wheatley.
He is survived by: his wife Lila Cushman of Jackson, Minnesota; his children, Nancy Cushman (David Sconzert) of Kenosha, Wisconsin and Mike Cushman (Lisa) of Eau Claire, Wisconsin; and his grandchildren, Ryan and Aidan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews along with other relatives and friends.
