He was predeceased by: his parents, August Benjamin and Marie Benjamin (Hunt); his sister Alice Emery; and his great grandchild Nella Marie Bower. He is survived by: his wife Karen Grunst; his children, Michael Benjamin (Jane) of Hartford, Kimberly Helgeson (Keith McGruder) of Eyota, Susan McCorkendale (Mark) of Hardin and Amy Espinoza (David) of San Antonio, Texas; and his sister Kay Johnson (Roger) of Jackson. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
