She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Johnson and Pearl Johnson (Schribner); her husband David Bargfrede; her siblings, Marlin (Janette Johnson) and Verlyn Andrea; and her parents-in-law, Herman and Avalda Bargfrede.

She is survived by: her children, Craig Bargfrede (Diane) of Ankeny, Iowa, Rhonda DeBoer (Shad) and Kristie Heinze (Craig) of Melrose, Minnesota; her grandchildren, Phil Bargfrede (Theresa), Grant Bargfrede, Kelsey Heinze, Courtney Heinze, Kayla Heinze, Connor DeBoer and Jake DeBoer; her great grandchild Caleb Bargfrede; her sister Maxine Mullivan (Don) of Rapid City; and her siblings-in-law, Kenneth Bargfrede (Janet) of Jackson, Minnesota and Verda Garms of Jackson, Minnesota. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
