He is survived by : his children, Jason Mix (LeAnn) of Fairmont, Laurie Mann (Paul) of Estherville, IA, Rick Tripp (Carmen) of Humbolt, IA, Nathan Adams of Jackson and Ginger Streiff (Chad) of Alpha; his grandchildren, Melissa Rummens (Chuck), Elisha Harberts, Lee Harberts, JD Harberts, Beth Mix, Adam Mix, Bre Mix, Hunter Adams, Patience Adams, Nala Streiff, Kiara Streiff, Dustin Tripp and Isaach Tripp; and his siblings, Susan Forstrom (John) of Trimont, Jerry Adams (Janyne) of Madison, WI, Terry Adams of Jackson and Debra Sabin of Sherburn. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Our Savior's Lutheran Church (1000 Prospect Ln, Jackson, MN 56143). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, June 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
